Sev.en Energy to complete transformation with Lubos Pavlas appointed head of the group

The Sev.en Energy group is to complete its several-month-long transformation as Lubos Pavlas has been appointed the new CEO of the group, with effect as of October 1, 2018. He will be replaced by Vaclav Matys as the head of the Sev.en EC power plant in Chvaletice.
Ing. Lubos Pavlas is a graduate of the Faculty of Economics and Electrical Engineering Management of the Czech Technical University in Prague. He has been working in various positions within the group for almost 10 years. In the past, he worked in various managerial positions within the CEZ Group and was also the Chair of the Board of Directors and CEO of Prazska teplarenska. As the new CEO, he will be responsible for the administration, management and development of the Sev.en Energy group in Czech republic and Europe.
Ing. Vaclav Matys graduated from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the Technical University of Liberec and for most of his professional life he has worked in various divisions of the CEZ Group, spending 12 years at the Chvaletice power plant, where he now returns after 13 years as a member of the Board of Directors and CEO. His principal project will be the modernization of Blocks 1 and 2.
